75th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION 28-29 MAY 2011

The Celebration began with a parade represented by all Houses of Pacific Relations from the Prado to the Organ Pavilion. The Polish contingent may have been the largest. All houses were recognized in turn at the Pavilion.

Iga and Janusz Supernak

Iga and Janusz Supernak modeled the dress of Polish Nobility the entire two days of the celebration. They were a universal hit - their image is probably on more cameras than any other. We thank them for their tireless contribution!

Dr. Supernak also sang "I Found my Perfect City". For those who missed it, you can enjoy a rendition on You Tube by Clicking Here. The clip includes a slide show of San Diego. Great for sharing with your distant relatives and friends.

Polonez dance group

As usual the Polonez dance group took our breath away! The announcer was literally stunned after this performance. BRAVO!

CHINESE DANCERS

The Chinese dancers dazzled too, with fluid moves and colorful costumes. Outstanding!

Not all beautiful girls are Polish. These Indian beauties represented their culture. Note how crowded it was. Sometimes it was difficult to get around!

BIG THANKS TO OUR STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS!

Happy servers, happy customers. Our hard working kitchen staff and servers satisfied thousands of Polish Food lovers! What a crew: Nicole, Kasia, Wojtek, Karolina, and Ania welcome you. Others not pictured included David, Genia, Halinka, Juliana, and Thomas. (If I missed someone, please let me know - your service is well appreciated!)

Kris Cieply and Eva Seibak

Our President Kris Cieply and our Spokesperson Eva Seibak relax after another very successful event.

I continue to be overwhelmed and impressed by the quality and quantity of the work done by our volunteers on behalf of this fine cultural organization. Hannu Mikkonen, the President of the House of Pacific Relations said that this may be the largest international cultural organization in the world. We want to make it the best. Thank you and Congratulations!

Your Secretary and Webmaster,

Marek
